Psychodynamic Counsellor in Lewes
Welcome to my website. I am a psychodynamic counsellor and a registered member of the BACP with many years’ experience working as a counsellor in various settings including the NHS, a charity, a low-cost clinic, secondary and primary schools, and in private practice. I work with adults, teenagers, children and families, offering brief and longer-term counselling on a weekly basis. I also offer online counselling for those who are 16 yrs and over.
Counselling provides therapeutic support with a wide range of life events and experiences that may be impacting on you and various aspects of your life. It can also offer the opportunity to deepen your understanding and awareness of yourself and ultimately lead to greater health and well-being.
You may be seeking counselling knowing what you need support with, for example a significant life event, decision or change; a bereavement; the experience of living with ill health, addiction, or the impact of past experiences including trauma and loss. Perhaps you are aware of repeating unhealthy patterns, feel stuck in your life, unhappy, depressed or anxious, but are unsure why, or how to negotiate your way through. Whatever you bring, I can offer you a safe, confidential and positive space in which to reflect, explore and try to make sense of all you may be struggling with, at a pace and depth that feels comfortable for you.
My private practice room is located in central Lewes, 5 minutes walk from the train station and bus routes and 2 minutes from a public car park.
